Dus. We hebben sinds dit weekeind -eindelijk- onze duizendste rating op Untappd beet. Voor degenen die iet weten wat Untappd is: dit is een website/app waarop je bieren, cider en mede kan waarderen. Je kan er ook delen wat je wanneer, waar en mat wie aan het drinken bent. Ook om meer informatie over een bepaald bier/cider/mede te vinden ben je hier over het algemeen aan het goeie adres.
Een brouwerij komt vanaf 1000 ratings -mogelijk- in de ‘Top Rated’ lijst terecht. We wisten al een tijdje dat The Blacksmith’s Meadery het niet slecht doet qua score (op het moment van schrijven 3.91), maar nu is het dan ook écht officieel. Voor wat de mensen op Untappd betreft behoort The Blacksmith’s Meadery tot de absolute top van Belgische brouwerijen. We bekleden momenteel de 18de plek in de lijst. Comfortabel in de top 20, dus. We blijven gestaag doorwerken. Next goal? Top 10!
So. As of last weekend we-finaly- received our 1000th rating on Untappd. For those unfamiliar with Untappd: this is an app/website where you can rate beers, ciders and meads. It’s also one of the good spots to research some info about the beverage you’re about to enjoy.
A brewery with at least 1000 ratings will -when they’re good enough- pop up in the ‘top rated’ list. We were aware of the fact that The Blacksmith’s Meadery was doing OK in the ratings (at the time of publication: 3.91) for some time now. As of last Saturday, however, it’s official. The people on Untappd think The Blacksmith’s Meadery belongs among the absolute top of Belgian Breweries. At this moment we’re occupying the 18th spot in the list. Quite comfortably in the top 20, I’d say. Of course we’ll keep doing what we do best: make awesome meads. Next goal? Top 10!
